Sea Mist Resort "Spray"

The only reason this place is getting 2 stars from me is because of my lovely Airbnb lady I booked my room through, and the location. Other than that, the parking is a joke. Two tiny lots and a side lot that are both being used by the public for public beach access even though it says sea mist parking only (they do not reinforce this, clearly). The small amount of parking for a huge building is comical. Place is surrounded by either run-down or abandoned hotels. Pool is not open. Parking garage is not open. Save up your money for a better place, trust me.

My oh my id be pissed if I got a room here like the other review and tried parking and found out there parking isn't reinforced to keep the public out. If I can't park where I'm staying, things are gonna fly. I feel bad when I here about that review that parking is crazy. I know now I wont be staying here.

Worst place ever. Booking said hotel “sandcastle” but they put us in “spray” in a parking lot facing room. But that’s not all the hotel is run down and very outdated. It’s feels so nasty here, the floors are nasty, I won’t walk on them without socks. Lots of drunks and drug using here. Not that sandcastle would have been any better. Haven’t seen any bugs like other reviews say but it’s probably cause they don’t want to be here either. Would not recommend. Rather spend twice as much than stay here again. Oh and it looks nothing like the pictures.

My 6 month old grandson contracted hand foot and mouth disease from the filthy swimming pools. The filthiest, smallest room I have ever stayed in. Check in was an hour late due to sea mist staff incompetence. The key cards did not work on exterior doors nor room doors. The food was horrible, parking is non existent. lack of the English language by the staff makes it difficult to communicate. No free WiFi, breakfast buffet was horrible. SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY IS DEAD AT THE SEA MIST. THE pools are filthy. The hall ways smell like cat litter.

People smoke out on the balcony and it comes into our room, the people next doors are always so loud, we never get any house keeping or if we needed new pillows they never gave us any,coffee pot has mold in it,the workers are arguing and complaining about having to do their jobs unfriendly staff,the pizza place that is connected to the hotel and by the little kids pool and lazy river they gave us raw pizza that took them an hour alone just to even try and "cook" it, the "new" sheets and towels we got had green smudged stuff all over it. Hard to get any parking at the hotel,the balcony bars arent that sturdy and so wide your kids might fall out, worst place ever! We also haven't had hot water in 2 days and when we called to tell them about the no hot water they said "yes we already know" w
