Sea Mist Oceanfront Resort

I stayed in a renovated room with an oceanview. Looks as if remodeling is going on while dba (doing business as). You cant beat the price to stay at great hotel with amazing views of the ocean.

My family and I went to the sea mist hotel for a two night stay. We were put on the highest floor. Elevator didn’t work. No wifi (worker lied when we called and gave us a fake wifi pass that didn’t work for the room). No shower curtain. Room and hotel its self was dirty. Got a refund but we booked a room with three beds the original had three but the refund had two twin beds. Overall, it was a scam and wasn’t worth the amount we paid.

They advertise a pool that is completely off limits. There is a $25 fee for clean sheets, towel exchange, or to even get toilet paper and or trash bags. If they have to come to the room for any reason there will be a $25 extra charge. The room wasnt clean and im not a "Karen" by far. Ive stay in some bad places but when you as much as I did to stay somewhere nice and you get stuck in a dirty room that charges for clean towels and toilet paper it tends to make you a little angry. And then I saw a charge on mu debit card where they were charging $1.95 everything we enter the code on the door. None of this was mentioned in the ad at the time it was reserved. Do not stay here. It is filthy, disgusting, run down and full of bugs. They will claim it's not bad bucks but the linen are stained with blood, urine, I found life insects in the bed, as well as hair and small insect poop. They will claim they inspected it the next morning and found nothing. Outside of the actual room. Die elevator is old and scary and the hallways smell really bad. Never again.

The maid came in our room and stole $300 out of my husbands suitcase when we had the do not disturb sign up. We called the front and they sent someone to see who scanned it the room and said someone came in while we were out on the beach but there’s nothing they can do about it. So beware. The housekeepers are thief’s.
