Sea Mist "Oats & Surf"

Do not stay here unless it's a last resort situation. No wifi whatsoever. TV was not working. Walls so thin you can hear everything that is being said in the next room, and God forbid small children are in the room above you. Had to kill a water bug. Bathtub was filled with sand when I checked in. You're never able to reach the front desk. Worst hotel ever. I was stuck in this hell hole, because my flight was canceled due to the Microsoft outage that had effected all airlines. Save your money and go elsewhere.

What did we like about The Sea Mist? Everything! Mr. Tim was very professional and friendly as was all the staff we encountered. Elevator access was great. We had 4 elevators on our floor and they were very fast! The kitchenette had an oven and a perfect size fridge, but a blender was have totally top it! The privacy curtains were awesome to sleep in but balcony view was sheer perfection! However more signs indicating the location of the front office are much needed.

I wanted to give the review for Oceanside Inn but since it’s not even listed properly on Google and since the attendant said it’s sister companies with this hotel, I’ll leave the review here. Oceanside Inn should be condemned and torn down! It’s filthy, moldy, nothing works, and it’s just not suitable for habitation. I mean not even the Internet worked! We should have been paid to stay there! My husband and I were joking that at least it was somewhere to lay our head since we booked a extremely last minute trip during spring break so we we’re thankful until we got there. My first room that was given to me had someone in it. While I was in the office telling the associate about that, two other ladies came down to complain their TVs weren’t working. I was just hoping that was a fluke b

We didn't stay at this hotel but strongly considered it. We stayed next door at Coral Bay and our room overlooked the Sea Mist. I am SO glad we didn't stay there. While I can't speak to the service or rooms, the kiddie pool is NASTY!! Our 5 yr old would have been so disappointed I took pictures of it from our balcony. Our hotel pools were all nice and clean. Not sure if Sea Mist is having a pool issue that they cant help but it was gross.

BALCONY SAFETY!!!! If you have little kids the balconies Safety rails are a fatal hazard, the spacing between pickets most likely is out of code, a child head shouldn’t fit between the pickets, if the head can fit that means the whole body can too. Kids must be supervised at all times but if you kid is standing right next to you grabbing those rails it may not cross your mind that your kid can over extend.
