Sea Kist Motel

We had a wonderful stay at the Seakist for our week vacation. Room was beautiful, the bed was the most comfortable bed we've ever had at a hotel. We didn't have housekeeping which we were totally ok with, but they were great about making sure to replenish towels and let me yaks a broom to keep floor swept due to sand from beach trips. Very close to the beach! Only complaint is the air conditioner i think need to be replaced or cleaned extremely well, my husband has terrible allergy attacks at night. I leaned it the best I could but I think there was mold in it, so i.hope they take care of that. Otherwise no complaints! We will definitely stay there again and hope the same room.

I had a harrowing experience within the first hour I was there. We were given our room, and there were four of us. We went in and got unpacked; the kids went to the beach, my daughter went for food, and I was finally able to sit and relax. So, I turned on the TV and sat. Within the next 30 minutes, my throat started to close up, and I started wheezing and had to get out of the room. I went to the office and explained to the front desk that if I did not get out of that room, I was going to have to go to the ER because I did not have any type of inhaler to help me breathe. He could see that I was not breathing correctly. He informed me they did not have another room to move me to, and he would contact Booking.com to let them refund me my money for one day. Because of the reviews, I figured out how bad it was. I asked online for free cancellation on the same day of my Booking and got no response, the day before arriving by phone I called the office to see if I could cancel the reservation and the response was no if I did I would lose my deposit so I confirmed that I would keep my reservation. The next day after a long trip I went to check in the person at the front desk asked me to get my ID and started the process to check me in while I was waiting for him to turn over the key or some paper work I get shoked when he informed me that my reservation had been cancelled as I am spoken to him I received an email stating that my reservation had been cancelled. I had a horrific experience with this scam place I don't recommend to anyone. Thank God

This was the worst motel I’ve ever stayed at. The room smelled awful—like mildew, cigarettes, and something rotten. The bed was filthy, with stained sheets, musty-smelling pillows, and a greasy blanket.||The bathroom was disgusting, with hair in the shower and a sticky, slimy floor. The toilet barely flushed, and the sink drained so slowly it was practically useless. The carpet was the worst—sticky, stained, and felt like it hadn’t been cleaned in years.||To top it off, the walls were paper-thin, so I heard yelling and banging all night from the room next door. I barely got any sleep. Avoid this place at all costs—it’s absolutely disgusting.||I have attached an image of what it actually looks like...

Great time with my wife and daughter. Assigned parking space was a plus. Our room was next door to the main office. We cooked the first night of arrival. We completely a lot of outdoor activity but knowing that we were able to get back into a room and sleep in peace with no problem and comfort was great for us. Thank you guys for making this well for us and see you next season. I recommend anyone to this motel. 3 min drive to the board walk. 14 min walk to board walk.
