Our room was full of roaches. When we turned the light on they scattered. We immediately tried to cancel our stay but unfortunately all other motels in the area were already booked. The linens were not clean, neither were the towels. The room reeked of cigarettes. After a day the smoke smell went away, but gave way to a very strong smell of urine and cheese. We had to keep the bathroom door closed because no matter what we did the urine smell kept spreading to the rest of our room. We told the front desk about the roaches and the other issues and they handed us a can of febreeze and an unmarked bottle of white powder for the roaches. I asked housekeeping for clean sheets and she directed me to the coin operated washing machine. I regret not spending a bit more money for something habitable

LITERALLY, STAY ANYWHERE ELSE. I wish I didn’t have to give one star to post this. It’s a zero star place. Maybe negative numbers. This place was awful. Me and my boyfriend and our two dogs decided to take a beach trip and booked a place for cheaper, quick. It was a mistake. When we pulled up, we were immediately uncomfortable with the company there in the parking lot just hanging out. The staff was rude. The rooms were not cleaned properly. There were roaches and our dogs itched worse from flees there then anything I’ve seen. We woke up to people screaming and banging on doors, needles in the parking lot, and the smell of smoke and funk and burning smells all through the hotel. This place should be shut down. They also charged us 100 dollars for our pets after telling us another price and

If I had a option to give it less than a 1 star I would. When we arrived our room wasn’t clean, so we asked for a refund. They told us they would up grade us to a better room. We took the “better” room. It was stinking in smell and roach infested. The roaches didn’t come out until that night. We again tried to get a refund and we’re told that we couldn’t. Tried to take showers but they were cold and dark. No lighting in the rooms, everything old and had a smell and more roaches. I placed my bags in the car and never ate in the room it was BAD!!! Sea Banks will never ever get a penny from me or anybody that I know.

The hotel and room were above my expectation. The room was very clean, NO odd smells. Yes the hotel is old but the most of all the linen and everything was clean. The owner (I think) was very nice. We had our 100 pound German Shepherd with us and we all had a pleasant stay. Very convenient to the beach and other sites in the area. Everyone we met there was very pleasant and ultra nice to our dog who loved the attention. IF we ever go back to Myrtle Beach we will most likely stay here. It is not fancy but our room had 2 double beds, New looking Bed Spread and sheets. Towels were a bit rough but did the job. Full sized side by side refrigerator, 4 burner stove and regular kitchen sink, coffee maker. They have larger rooms for families. So if you want a clean bargin it is a decent place to st

The location is fantastic, especially for the price. It's not $200 a night fantastic, but I don't need that. I agree that the housekeepers could do a better job to maintain the great renovations that the owners have invested in. But I like to give my room a once-over cleaning when I check-in anyways. Bed was comfy, though not level. Lol. But we will definitely be back in fall just before the temp drops. Prob October. Thank you for the great stay!(loved the staff so much that we extended our stay another 2 nights!)
