SCP Mendocino Inn and Farm

We had an incredible stay here and can’t wait to come back. The property is beautiful. It’s very serene, peaceful, and relaxing. You’re able to interact with the farm animals and you’re served fresh breakfast from the farm each morning. That was a huge draw for us and the food was 10/10. The room was also very nice and came with everything you need to relax. We particularly loved tending to the fire place each night. They have EV Chargers as well which is a great amenity. The staff is very kind and welcoming. They gave us recommendations on where to eat and what places to visit it was a wonderful experience with them. From check in to check out you feel truly welcomed.

We had such a great stay at SCP Inn and Farm for our anniversary weekend. When we arrived, we even had our own designated parking spot with a welcome sign with my name on it, which was such a sweet surprise. The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home.||They offer fresh-baked cookies at the front counter (which were delicious), and our room was clean, comfortable, and really cozy. We loved exploring around the property. There are chickens, llamas, and a cute organic garden. In the lobby, they also offer complimentary lavender to take and little seeds so you can feed the chickens, which was a fun touch.||Overall, it was a wonderful getaway and we’re really happy with our experience there!

I could not love the accommodations here more! The special little touches sprinkled in and the around the property are lovely. Chocolate chip cookies at check-in (delicious btw), pouches for lavender to take home - and for carrying chicken feed to the girls (hens) every morning were something to look forward to. So was watching the Llamas graze in the morning sun, with ocean views in the background. You can hang with them in their pasture as well, but they like their alone time haha. A lot of love and care went into this place. The little breakfast basket delivery is like a gift to look forward to in the morning. Please remember to tip your brekky-fairies (aka kitchen-staff) for such careful packing! I can’t wait to go back.

Booked a Deluxe Ocean View King Suite over Thanksgiving, paying about $1,200 total for two nights. While the front desk staff were genuinely kind and professional, the stay itself didn’t match the experience suggested by the website or the room category. 1. “Ocean View” that’s almost impossible to see. The room assigned was on the first floor, facing a llama farm with trees blocking nearly the entire ocean. In the photo attached, the tiny red-circled area is the only sliver of ocean visible — far from what “Deluxe Ocean View” implies. 2. Great staff, but the product didn’t match the promise. The front desk handled my questions politely and acknowledged that the room didn’t meet the ocean-view expectation. It’s rustic charm makes you feel reconnected with nature. Love the breakfast to the room in morning and the scenic location. They provided breakfast for my family with a kid breakfast. You can feed chickens and enjoy the farm animals. Free electric car charging was a huge plus as there are at least three Tesla destination chargers and one J1772 so you may not need a Tesla to J1772 adapter.
