Scott Lake Campground

This lake is absolutely gorgeous! We explored the lake on 7/28/24. To the touch it was really warm. Really clear water. Unfortunately it was smokey at this time but still beautiful!

This place was perfect for my puppy and I! Next time I would like to explore more of the plateau, really beautiful area and lots of history. The very first campsite is great if you have a camp toilet of your own, it is private and possibly more often vacant because of the distance from the restrooms.

Was there 3 nights over Labor Day weekend and it was a great time! The views are amazing from where we were at, with the mountains reflected across the lake. The sites are spread out well, with the only downside to the one we were at being that it was used by other groups for lake access, often with dogs. It's a decent walk down to some of the sites from parking, so be ready to carry some gear. Trash cans are available in the restrooms, which are up along the gravel road. No options for paying for passes with cash, but the Recreation.gov app works in offline mode at the kiosk. Overall great experience and can't wait to stay again, especially on a quieter weekend than Labor Day!

I had the honor of camping here in October of 2019 and I feel in love easily. The best spots are the ones you have to hike into but the view of The Sisters makes the extra effort so worth, especially on a moonlit night.

This place is absolutely a must see for non motorized boats, etc
