Love this place. The trails for snowboarding are the best. I'm going here every year from near state. Thus year I took all me family. They was really enjoying it. It's a bit expensive, but some people are doing this place cool.

Schweitzer is like skiing used to be. Granted we were midweek, so parking was free and only a short walk to the slopes. I think I would opt for taking the free shuttle from the base of the mountain on the weekends. Even if you arrived to the top parking lots before they were full, they are very tight and I'm guessing quite chaotic on the weekends. ||There is lodging on the mountain, but when we looked into it we weren't happy with the cancellation policy. I think it was 100% non-refundable if cancelled in less than 30 days. One never knows what can some up in life! ||Development has obviously occurred over many decades, but nothing looks decrepid or too pretentious. My son purchased a lift ticket and got 2 runs in before he needed to leave to take his brother to Urgent Care for a shoulder injury. He was told he couldn't get any money back at all if he leaves. He paid $153 for a lift ticket to be able to go down 2 times and told they don't care. Absolutely ridiculous. No compassion at all.

Honestly I think they only want rich people there cause they charge so much for a lift ticket. Last time I went they wanted $175 roughly just for the day. If you want to go the cheaper route do cross country skiing there it's roughly $20 for a day pass. Please be aware people poo on the trails there so be prepared. Best place to downhill ski in the region.

My family and I had an amazing time out here! The ski school was fantastic. They were flexible and understanding as well as quick to respond. It was so wonderful to get to see my 4 yr old learn how to ski in real time and Margo especially was so great with her.
