Sands Beach Club

I booked this resort based on a visit with a friend who rented a unit for a month back in March. Every room in her building faced the ocean directly (beach front). I loved it so much that I immediately checked to see if the resort was available through RCI (my timeshare). It was, so I booked our week. I wasn't aware that there is a Phase I and Phase II for this resort. Phase II is what sits on the beach, so Ocean Front. The unit we were assigned to was considered Ocean View (it sat sideways on the property so it was only Ocean View). We did have a small view, but not what I was expecting. However, as I was somewhat disappointed in the lack of the Ocean Front view, there were some plusses in being in that unit. We had our own private pool and hot tub and there was less activity ove

This place was absolutely beautiful. The room had 2 bedrooms in it with a pull out couch, a full kitchen and an amazing ocean view. The pizza place that's in the nearest building was absolutely incredible! 10/10 Recommend

It was a nice trip!! The hotel was clean, staff was nice and welcoming. Even the parking garage felt safe to walk there and back. Family oriented and the live entertainment at night was fun to listen to.

We had such a lovely time! The Capital staff is wonderful - the room was equipped with paper towels, dishwasher tablets and detergent for the washer - even a vacuum - everything you could need for the perfect week at the beach. Two restaurants that were very yummy, the pool facing the canal for the sunset. The resort is located at the end of the beach right before the channel so the beach is peaceful and beautiful. We hope we can come back soon!

The room was filthy and smelled musty. Debris and spills on the base boards and walls. Tubs and toilets were dirty. We stayed here several times in a different room but this one was disgusting and I felt uncomfortable sleeping in the beds as I felt they were not cleaned prior to our stay. We removed bedding and washed them before bed. We are from NY and booked 6 months prior so changing location was not an option. We do not recommend and will never stay here again. Also the balcony door sticks and is almost impossible to close. If you want to shower you better make it snappy as the hot water runs out in less than 5 mins. Location is great but everything else is very disappointing.
