Sandcastle Oceanfront Resort South Beach

Pulling in to this place was like being in a horror movie. This place outside and inside is a total Dump. The room was so dusty and outdated nothing compared to pictures. We arrived at 12 midnight to no hot water at all in the unit. Tvs did not work the floor was not clean and had a awful smell. None of the pools or jacuzzis are functioning. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WE LEFT AND WENT TO A NEIGHBOR RESORT. compass cove highly recommended. They have so many amenities. Updated and solo clean.

I had a great stay at Sandcastle Oceanfront Resort South Beach. The location is perfect, right on the beach, and the views were beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was always helpful and welcoming. The pool area was relaxing, and it was nice having easy access to the ocean. Overall, it was a really enjoyable place to stay and I’d definitely come back.

My husband and I stayed there 9/6 thru 9/13. We had stayed there a few years back and really loved it. This time was a little different.|| First the pros:||- oceanfront room|- clean enough|- quiet at night|- friendly staff|- comfortable beds|- did allow extra time for checkout since we had a later flight.||cons:||-all of the hot tubs were down for maintenance. heaters are broken and was going to take weeks to fix.|- 1 tube float in the lazy river|- no pots, pans, dished or silverware in the room. 2 coffee cups and 2 glasses only. We had a kitchenette and always were provided these items. when I inquired at the front desk, they stated that they do not supply those because they were getting stolen. It is not a big deal to me but if a family is coming down there and plan to eat in, they will

King Suite, room did not looked as advertised. Dead bugs in bedroom closest to outdoor balcony. Back of ac unit hung loose, safety hazard. No bathroom sink stopper. Did check out a day before we were suppose to leave. The ocean view was good. We did have hot water. Room definitely needs updating. Please Remove false advertisement of rooms. I feel that my money should be refunded.

This room had a fantastic view of the sea, but it suffered in a lot of ways. The headboard on our bed was practically about to rip off the bed, not to mention how uncomfortable the bed was. The shower was tiny with lousy pressure. The room was a good size though. It was quiet and had a nice balcony. Not many places where you can watch dolphins from your hotel room. Good place to vacation on a budget.
