Sand Dunes Resort - Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Lodging

Went to check in and the paperwork was not done for our stay, there was a line out the door of people waiting to check in. Took me 30 plus to check in, they were kind and she was training a girl it was just the two of them. They did there best but she failed to put the code to get in Tower 1 so we had to call them get the code, got up to the room and no bedding for the Murphy bed, remote was dead it was clean and didn't smell bad. The view was fantastic. Color scheme and decor could be much better. Also had to Walk to get my own bedding because they didn't have anyone to bring it.

Positive: There is a restaurant and bar on the premises. Negative: They gave my room to another couple, and they walked in on me sleeping at 10:45pm. And then they acted like it was no big deal and even go annoyed at the other couple because they didn’t get to their room EARLIER!

today my id was expired and I had already booked my room for next night. my boyfriend was kicked out of my room with less than an hours notice and locked out of room, with not even all of our belongings while I was at work!!! no one at this hotel had the decency to inform me of their decision that they wouldn't except my expired ID and I needed to leave ASAP. and I had to get my refund from 3rd party sales Trips.com which said this booking would not be offering any refunds!! still waiting to hear back from them on refund!I will never go back there and would never recommend them to anyone after the rude people I had to deal with today!!!

Got an efficiency last minute. For about $100 amazing. Ocean front, king bed and sofa sleeper we did not need but here if you need extra sleeping spots. Bed was comfortable and clean. We faced east so the blackout shades helped. It is February so outdoor stuff is closed for the season. Indoor hot tub etc is perfect. Sound of the ocean is just what we needed.

Very unprofessional.. how you gunna let someone stay in a room all weekend and then let them go home wait til thursday to call and tell someone they owe money and call them a thief if I owed you any money you wouldn't have let me stay in the room period.. on top of the rooms was not what we paid for then the room we was in the bathroom floor was bubbling up from the water coming up from under the tub.. yall this hotel for me has been the worst of all the hotels ive stayed in, in myrtle beach.. never have I ever been accused of stealing a room for a entire night without pay... when I paid them over the phone before we arrived at the hotel... I should have just gotten my money back and ran when I stood there and watch 5 different people complain about them over charging their cards, the room
