Sand Dollar Motel

This quaint beach Motel is much better than its reviews make it out to be. I have come to visit time and time again and I can't beat the room size, the proximity to the beach and mostly, the hospitality of the owners - the quality for the price is unmatched.

The office manager, Kristen is very polite, friendly and helpful. I have never had a problem with her. If something needs fixed, she contacts maintenance (George) immediately. No bed bugs, no roaches or mice. Rooms are reasonably priced. Several cable channels, WiFi and flat screen TV. Hot water always !! Great location. The owner, Mr Kyle takes care of all his properties. Laundry room, free local calls and computer in the laundry room for guests. Ten stars !!!

I was a j1 and I never felt being homesick, because of the people managing the place. the manager made the place really special and provided us everything that we need. and they are easy to talk to. the place is near the beach, attractions, and most importantly the clubs. The pool is very nice!

This place is in a great location. It’s close to everything like grocery store, gas station, restaurants, attractions and even the post office. Very convenient! The beach is like a couple of blocks from here, you can actually view the ocean from the street! I’ve stayed in one of their updated rooms and everything’s in good condition. The room was clean and smell good. The people staying in this place are all nice and the staff are very accommodating and helpful. Will recommend this place and will definitely come back here if I’m going back to Myrtle Beach. 👍👍

A diamond in the rough and locals favorite. Clean rooms that don't stink and spacious accommodations with a near full kitchen. Rooms are a value considering what you pay and the front desk and staff are top notch. Will stay again and again.
