Sand Bucket Motel

The staff were great. The place itself wasn't good. The lights were on a timer and only came on at night. The stove didn't work. I saw 6 cockroaches while there. We stayed 8 nights at $150 a night. Not worth the money. It's a block back from the beach. Again the staff were very friendly and helpful.

This place was so disgusting! Outdated, old, dirty curtains and chair cushions. Holes in walls, broken locks and COCKROACHES!!! Yes cockroaches people! Not palmetto bugs!!! The box springs were stained and ripped. And the owners refused a refund. I had black inside my ears after sleeping on their pillows. It was an awful experience here!!! Dirty dirty dirty

Terrible experience, Owner/Operator Is the worst , very nice until you give your money , no formal check in procedures, no receipts, no amenities to speak of. Night security was a joke and room smelled. Felt very unsafe on the premises, the owner had her boyfriend asking me and my guest questions about who was in my room and later said that i couldn’t have guest in my room to visit. this was a real terrible place to stay even for a last minute decision as well as the many people that i think are living in some of the rooms on the second level that seemed to have an issue with drugs and i wouldn’t be surprised if the owner/operator was high herself with her delusional comments and behavior. needless to say i planned to stay a full weekend but left after one night.

This a great little motel. Whoever wrote that other review was just obviously mad over their car. Maybe they should have parked in the right place. The hotel is run by two women who keep it very clean. If you are going for the super fancy resort, this isn't it. But it is a great little place to stay. Nothing is very up to date but it is clean, in a convenient location and inexpensive. You are not going to find another place right on the strip at this price. I love it because I can walk to everything. We've been twice to this hotel and loved it. We are actually going back in two weeks.

Love this place ! Nothing fancy. Friendly nice staff ! Very helpful! Had a outdoor pool right in the back, the beach is literally across the street. We stay here every single year! Has a small fridge and oven! Close to everything! Very affordable.
