Salmon River Outfitters lodging

Spent a night at Salmon River Outfitters, the rooms were very competitively priced, and the room was very nice inside. The owner is very nice and helpful when it comes to any questions asked, and they have a very nice lounge for guests of the lodge to use during their stay. I would 1000% recommend anyone looking to stay a night in Pulaski/Altmar to give Salmon river outfitters a call!!!

For those of you that come for the fishing, and down to earth people who are genuinely willing to help you, this is your place. I’ve been coming here since 2015 and every visit has been great. Friendly service, helpful advice and good human beings. You can get everything from tackle, coffee and meals, to fish cleaned, licenses and a room! Great fishing is a few hundred feet away. If you’re looking for a hotel room and to be pampered, I hear the Lennox on Boylston in Boston is nice. If you want to have a good time on your fishing trip and end up in a room to sleep and go fishing tomorrow...this is your place!!!!

Best place to stay. Located right ON the fly zone in Altmar. Rooms are clean and affordable. Bar and grill across the street. The owner Chris Mason Joe and the team always help our yearly trips.

Like it a lot. Reminds me of home. Nothing to fancy, Just right.

My buddy and I stayed for a second season at salmon river outfitters, we stayed in the prowler camper for two years in a row. 2023 season we didn’t have heat the one night in the prowler, this season Sunday into Monday morning after a rainy and cold day on the river. We heard a screeching noise like a belt being broke in the furnace at 2 am. We lost heat for the second year in a row. Instead of contacting the owner at early hours we sucked it up. I let the gentleman know working at the tackle shop around 8 am we had no heat. I was assuming the owner would contact us we built a great repoire with him over the weekend. When I went to check out to pay the bill I was assuming we would get an apology or maybe a few bucks off the final bill. I sent the website a message with nothing back.
