Salmon Lake Campground

Perfect family-friendly RV campground. Ideal if you like a more social but still lowkey campground with lake access. Such a beautiful spot! I don't know what it was, but this place had something despite it's size. Beautiful trees, lake twinkling in the sun, and good vibes. A FEW DETAILS ∙ RV Campground was cozy. You had your own space, but you will get to know your neighbors since they were about 30 feet away ∙ Close to the road. On a Sunday midday, it would get pretty loud but in the evening it quieted down ∙ Short 10-minute walk downhill to the lakefront. Some of the clearest water we've seen! Beach access for kids and a dock for the older kids to jump off of. ∙ We were here on a summer weekend and this place was alive! Lots of families, kids riding around on bicycles, people going to

This is a very nice campground off of the highway. They have electric sites that can be reserved in advance. A very clean campground. The hosts were very friendly. They have showers which helped save water. Bathrooms are in center of campground with easy access. There was plenty of parking for boat and extra vehicle in parking spaces. Only room for one vehicle per campsite. The downfall is no fill or dumpstation. Another downfall us beach for swimming is down the road. You can drive easily there or walk all of your stuff and a trail probably .25 to .5 miles. We will come back for sure.

Fantastic campground. Paved roads throughout so it is a good place to bring the kids’ bikes. Well taken care of by camp hosts. Bathroom facilities were clean. $1 for 3 minutes to use the showers. Salmon Lake is a great lake to swim in.

Great location, right on the lake. One of the rare state campgrounds with showers. Perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking, not a lot of boat traffic.

Pristine state park and campground on a lake that is often still as a mirror. Great fishing, boating, swimming and picnicking opportunities. Lots of bright green and snow-capped mountains in the distance, just an incredible place to relax. The park is very well maintained by camp hosts and even has live music and events throughout the summer. Highly recommended!
