Corricks Riverbend Campground

I think we got the best spot in the campground! Enough space between each site and even a private river access. Not much firewood in the imdiate area but had already brought some so that wasn't an issue. Also lots of places selling bundles for $5 ish. Campground was well maintained and quite (except for the guy that came in super late and set up right next to us and proceeded to play music and have a very large fire but that's the risk you take these days with most camping spots so no points deducted lol) There were more trees than I thought there was going to based off of other photos which was a pleasant surprise. It's definitely a decent amount dirt road to get there from the highway but it's fairly well maintained. Oh and excellent rocks to explore and admire👌🏻🪨

Great spot right on the banks of the Blackfoot River. Lots of guides start their float trips from the launch, so the two sites by the ramp will see lots of action during the day. Nice and quiet at night.

Great place early season in May before summer floaters arrive. Great bike ride along the river too not to far from camp.

Now Yin and Yang camped here with me. Those two brothers older than the gods. What do I mean? Up and down, good and bad, dark and light. Out of these examples good and bad are by far mainly my own perceptions. Up and down and dark and light are also perceptions but less tied up with morality. But still perceptions all the same. The Buddhists are not as concerned with morality as us boys raised up in Abrahamic traditions are. There IS no good there IS no bad. But think on this how can one know peace without danger? Pride without shame? All of these actions and emotions fleeting. All gone. Never to return but in muddled memories . Do fish think of actions being good and bad? Anyhow, caught a little trout and drank coffee. Nice fellas from the east camped here too.

Nice area, we usually do off grid camping but needed a quick spot as we got into the area late and it was close to dark. The spots were spacious and not too close to each other so we still had some privacy. Nice that each space had a bear box for loading goods into at night instead of packing it all back into the car.
