Spent three nights here with dear friends and had an amazing time. Willy and his crew were so laid back and easy to work with. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. We did a great float upriver from The Outpost and ended there with no fuss. Highly recommend. Our dog loved roaming the grounds too!
Blackfoot River Outpost was the perfect venue for our wedding! The setting is beautiful, with great scenery and river access. It was exactly what we were hoping for, a wonderful celebration surrounded by nature. Having the cabins and camping options for our guests made the weekend even better. Helen, Willie, and the rest of the staff were great to work with throughout the entire process. They were friendly and incredibly helpful from start to finish. We highly recommend Blackfoot River Outpost to anyone looking for a lovely and laid-back outdoor river venue for their wedding!
What an excellent camp ground. Very close to Missoula. In the middle of beautiful canyon. They are great flat campsites and several adorable cabins. This place sells ice and wood. It has rentals for all types of floats and is right along the blackfoot. We stayed in cabin #3 which has a large jetted tub! The beds were comfy and the staff were all very friendly and helpful!
My sweetie and I were married at the Blackfoot River Outpost during the summer of 2024! We couldn’t have dreamed of a more meaningful and joyous weekend at the outpost! Helen & Willie assisted every step of the way with prep, to ensure we had the celebration we envisioned, and when the wedding weekend rolled around, Helen and Willie truly went above and beyond to accommodate and support all the logistics and merriment!! From floating the river, and providing shuttles, to coordinating every bit of the ceremony & reception every employee, at the outpost was kind, helpful, and professional!! We couldn’t recommend this venue more for a wedding, reunion, or as a beautiful getaway to stay on the shores of the Blackfoot river! Thank you for making our wedding an absolute dream!
A beautiful location and easy palce to stay. Hope to come back soon! The owners are laid back and very accommodating for late / early checkins and helped coordinate an awesome river float. Room was clean and comfortable.
