Sahara Suites

I booked our reservation several months in advance, confirmed, reconfirmed, and overly confirmed that we were getting the two bedroom apartment. We had always gotten a room over by the grass area. They confirmed that we were getting it and I explained why there were two mothers and four children we needed some space between us. They assured us it was the right room. When we arrived, they said that wasn’t the room we booked us in a different room and then one down the hallway in the dark area. We had a five-year-old and eight-year-old and 211-year-old absolutely terrible location for them.Been going to this location for many years and then an Indian family purchased the property. They were more than happy to bump us out of our reservation into accommodate the following people accusing us of

The main motel area with rooms that open into the inner courtyard amd pool seem nice however the owner duped us into staying in their separate building or private house across the alleyway. They’ve converted the lower part into four additional suites and they live above. This building or home, is directly on the highway 3 and noisy from traffic and the noise of people walking around above you. I asked to be moved and they said no. Be warned. If they try to put you in the ‘other building’ at checkin say no way. Rates are all over the map so be careful. The main motel area is nice and the courtyard, gardens are well maintained. 3 min walk to the beach.

Convenient location just off the highway at east end of the beach strip, close to Cottonwood Beach. Good selection of rooms, some recently renovated and others in process of to-the-studs renovation; we were happy with our yet-to-be renovated room. the interior open-sky courtyard was lovely for relaxing in late afternoon. Very competitive rates in shoulder season, and a better facility than two other nearby motels we have tried in last two years.

This place is out of control. I reserved a room here for me and my traveling family. Realized when I got the conformation email that the front desk closed at 10pm and we would be unable to make it in time for check in Spoke with 3 different people that wanted to charge my credit card over the phone and leave a key in an undisclosed location. Not being comfortable with this, I asked for a cancelation. The manager refused a cancelation and wanted the booking site I booked through to charge me the full night's stay regardless. I will not ever stay at this place nor will I ever book through the booking site again as they would not do anything about it. Very un professional and nerve racking experience.

This hotel is ridiculous. We had an accident on our way to Osoyoos and well missed our first night of booking (that’s okay we already knew were going to pay but anyways still called them to let them know were not coming on the first night) we arrived checked in and the receptionist said “you were supposed to arrive yesterday” okay yes life happens we didn’t so we said “we had an accident that’s why” then she again said “unfortunately we still need to charge you because our cancellation is 15 DAYS PRIOR” so you guys better watch out .
