Sage Motel

Right off the highway in the small town of Gettysburg KJ’s inn and suites was the perfect pit stop for myself and my pup on our trip. Our host was exceptional making sure our every need was met. The room was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The price was reasonable, it was quiet and just what I needed after a long day of travel. I would highly recommend stopping here, as my stay was exceptional.

Management was EXTREMELY Accommodating and helpful! Very friendly! Room was IMMACULATE!

My stay is here is quite comfortable. I have not stayed at a more comfortable " motor Inn" there are 13 rooms you park in front of your door. There are push button key locks on the doors.The rooms are completely remodeled. It looks old and tired from the outside. But don't let that fool you.The room is as quiet as can be. My bed is new and extremely comfortable. Lovely comforter set on the bed. Cold air conditioning new microwave and fridge Bathroom has been completely gutted and has all new fixtures. Plush grey towels in the bathroom |The owners are not yet done with they remodeling work out side. |There are chairs outside your rooms as well as some patio sets for comfort.|I would stay here again. I felt safe even with a full house. My stay will be for 5-6days or until my work is comple

We stayed in Gettysburg while hunting pheasants in Nov 2020. This was our first trip to SD, so we originally booked only 2 nights not knowing where we would like to hunt and not knowing if we'd like the accommodations at KJs. Very pleased, we ended up staying 4 nights total. The owners were so accommodating and attentive. The room was clean. The beds were comfy. The property had pheasant cleaning facilities and a good selection of breakfast items. Its a chill and welcoming atmosphere. The only thing lacking was the city with little food options. Suggestion to people coming to Gettysburg... bring a portable grill and some burgers as the options were slim otherwise. My only recommendation for the hotel would be a freezer for pheasant hunters to store their cleaned and labeled birds

I can’t say enough about this Motel. The owners was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The rooms were clean, towels were soft and fluffy, water was hot with plenty of it, the tv was huge, the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were nicely painted. Additionally, the price was in our range. These owners have put a lot of hard work and dedication in this motel to make it a home away from home. Highly satisfied.
