Nice state park campground with some small sites packed right next to each other, but does have a few tucked away a bit more along with a few great walk-in sites. The pit toilets are pretty good, but no water at the campground is inconvenient and rare for a state park campground.
Rustic getaway with stunning nature. Arrived at Rustic Campground on a Friday around 5 PM and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The vault toilets were conveniently located nearby, although the water source was a bit farther away. We built a cozy bonfire at night and stargazed under a clear sky. The hiking trails were well-maintained and offered beautiful views of the tall trees. Highly recommend this campground for those seeking a quiet and scenic nature experience.
