Affordable New Ulm Motel

I was in town for Oktoberfest with friends. I had booked the room 2 months ahead of time. When we went to check in, I was told by the guy at the desk (Roger) that he was busy and I would just have to wait. Later he came back and said he did not have my reservation. I showed him the confirmation email I received from the hotel. He basically said too bad and he doesn't have any rooms because it is filled with monthly's. I asked why the website booked me a room if it was full. He said he doesn't know what goes on on the website and it's not his problem. I was furious. He then told me I had to leave. It was probably a blessing in disguise because the motel looked like a crack house and the front desk had empty beer cans all over. I also looked on their website that day and saw there were suppo

This motel is very out dated which is not the issue, it is very ran down and dirty, the pictures online DONT do it right. Toilet ran all night, they say no smoking in unit but the people who live there maybe on a monthly bases (that style of motel) smokes in unit and walls are thin, I had a hard time breathing while there, the doors are not secure shower leaks, the list goes on.. It would not take much to clean it up but since they cater to the daily, weekly, monthly crowd perhaps it is not an interest to them. I will never stay there again nor do I suggest. NO Towels, I don't travel with towels.

Place is too run down. Door knobs wouldnt work. And the people that live there have no respect for others. Plus i never got the key to my room so i changed rooms. And the new room i got had spiders and dust all over. Mold everywhere. I dont recommend

Do not stay in room 31. The bathroom was good but the room was cobbled together. The windows don't open but that's besr considering the street noise. Dirty but not gross. About the roughest motel that I've stayed at.

Guy at the front desk was nice. Rooms are VERY out dated. Only stay here if you really have to. Pay the extra for a national chain hotel. Very disappointed.
