Rushmore Shadows Resort, RV Park & Campground South Dakota

This is a very nice campground with great facilities. The laundry room is well equipped and was very useful. They do have a lot of amenities. We would definitely stay here again.

I dont know if you need to be a member to get a deceant cabin . We are not members and this is what we got for over 200.00 a night. In the bed room the mattress felt like we were sleepimg on a boxspring. A window air conditner 3 inchs above our head and noisy as heck. The pull out couch mattress was so thin and uncomfortable a person could hardly sleep on it. Towels barly enough for each of us for 1 day we stayed 3 nights if you need more you had to pay for them. I could go on and on but needless to aay we wont be retuning.

Quiet park near Mt Rushmore Crazy Horse and Custer State Park. The staff were friendly. Nice bathhouse and laundry facilities. Pool was dated but clean. Nice grass at each sight. Well maintained very nice fire pits at each site too

Spent almost 2 months in the RV park until closing day. Haven't stopped talking about it since. Huge spaces, wonderful dog parks and close to everything the Black Hills has to offer.

We got our membership with several other families. We were told we could call and reserve a group of 3 spots together if we were all to purchase a membership. They honored this for years and all of a sudden they can't seem to make it work. They offer 3 spots in three different locations on the campground. They have gone from excellent customer service to a "just deal with it" approach to members. It looks like they are trying to cater to those renting spots for the whole summer rather than their loyal members. So disappointed with the new set up....
