Rus Mar Motel

We went to see if we could check in early, we were told our room was being clean to come back between 230-3. When we came back at 3 we were told the previous guest had not checked out and that we needed to come back later. We came back at 6 and the room was ready but had to wait for a key. When we got in the room it had a musty smell and when we went into the bathroom the ceiling was covered in mold. I do not recommend especially if you have allergies or asthma.

This place is terrible, extremely unclean and dirty. Beds filled with dirt and mold, and the rooms extremely small. We payed around 160 $ for ONE NIGHT (not including the 10$ parking fee and 35$ pet fee), I have been visiting wildwood for the past 20 years and I have never been charged for parking at a motel/hotel. You could easily find a way better stay for the same price, or even less. Never stay here, you will regret it.

The beds are really uncomfortable, our microwave was broken same with the toilet bowl lid. We also couldn’t use the bathtub as a bathtub . I did like how close it was to the boardwalk/beach and that it was dog friendly

Place was really run down. Staff was not professional at all. Arrived and learned that they Charge $35 Pet fee when online it said $20. The next morning leaving my room one of the staff members saw me with both Dogs and yelled across the parking lot if i had paid the pet fee. I think that was very unnecessary.

This is the perfect spot for an overnight getaway. Right off the convention center, nice view of the ocean. I’ve read so many reviews that this motel is dated, and it is, but in the most charming way. It was incredibly clean and the staff made us feel right at home. I wish I’d gotten her name when we checked n and out. Very kind and caring people passionate about the service industry!
