My stay here is excellent. So peaceful and clean. The view of the bridge is wonderful. The owner was very polite and informative of what to do in the area. |I saw two negative reviews stating they stayed here in March 2025 with their families. The RV park is an adult only RV park and did not open for the season until May. People should not leave malicious false reviews.
The park itself is ok. All gravel, and numerous annoying speed bumps, with a difficult entry to navigate. But it's clean. I wasn't thrilled to hear that I'd still have to pay for a timed shower. Didn't check out the pool, bathrooms or anything else. more on that later. ||The worst part of this place is the Burgermeister Meisterburger who runs it. I assume he runs it, because who else would be so angry and pissed at a guest for asking legit questions. ||The wifi didn't work at my site, and when I asked about it, a second time, I was met with sarcasm, annoyance and anger. I tried to stay cool, but this guy was already steaming, clearly. He angrily suggested I move sites, then said "well do you want sun, shade, or wifi??" A little shocked by that.. so I simply asked, "aren't I p
What a great place to stay for a week, a month or even the summer!! The park is located on the front range of the cool Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Royal View caters to mature adult RVer’s and is ideal for retirees like myself. Large tree lined pull throughs make it easy to set up and establish camp for full size Class A’s or Fifth Wheelers like mine. I love that this park is away from the highway making it feel secluded and really quiet. There is so much to do in or out of the park; walking paths, pickle ball, shuffleboard, swimming, hot tubing in park or fly fishing, rafting, River Walk, Tunnel Drive hiking, Royal Gorge Route railroad, Skyline Drive and even dinosaur foot prints. Thanks Todd, Angela and Sammie I’ll be back soon.
First, good luck finding the entrance. Some decided to design it like a maze, along with SIX speed bumps in the driveway. And if you're into being treated like a nuisance, you've found your spot. The welcome I got at check-in came with a side of sarcasm and a laundry list of rules. When the Wi-Fi didn’t work, I flagged the guy down. His response? “Just wait a couple minutes,” like the signal needed to warm up, or something? I let it go, because he clearly seemed irritated by the question. But the second time I asked, the tone shifted fast — irritated, defensive, and condescending. I got hit with a rant about how “The wi-fi works, SIR!. trees block Wi-Fi” and the gem: “Do you want sun, shade, or Wi-Fi?” I stayed calm, and said I'd try my starlink first, and sorry for bothering him.
I don’t know where to begin to brag about this wonderful park. First and foremost: Todd and Angela, the owners are awesome hosts!!! I have read negative reviews on the owner. One must realize this owner not only runs this park/resort. Every bit of care put into it is done by himself and Angela. He doesn’t have 15 people on golf carts following you around. They may seem nitpicking re: the rules. Where in the world would one go and not have to follow rules. As an RVer I have seen many people push the limits on rules at parks. Just grow up and stop and think. Rules are there for a reason. It is a 45 and over park. It is CLEARLY stated on website and rules are stated as well. Second: Every amenity is at this park: Small store, pool, showers, game room and laundromat, putt putt
