Starlite Vintage Resort

I had an absolutely lovely time staying at Starlite for Valentine's weekend. The grounds were super charming and clean, the service was wonderful, responsive, and accommodating :) The sauna was amazing and very clean, and the provided bathrobes were a very nice touch. The bathhouse was spotless and adorable on the inside, and the showers were nice and hot! My partner and I are excited to come back in the summer when more of the local attractions are open, however during the off season there is plenty of shopping to do in town, so there was still much to do and see.

My husband and I stayed here on a whim, and we are already planning a return trip. This is such a unique find! We stayed in the "stunning views" 1 bedroom apartment. The apartment was super cute, very clean, and had everything we needed for a quick one night getaway with our dogs. Since it's the off season, we practically had the place to ourselves. The entire property is lit with string lights and unique decorations, plus each site has it's own outdoor seating area and fire pit. The fenced dog park was an added bonus for us, and the bookworm in me loved the Coca Cola free little library - for the room we stayed in, it would've been nice to have a more comfortable couch to sit and watch TV on, or at least a TV in the bedroom since our purpose was to stay in (currently winter and most of th

Fun atmosphere, great campy campers! Welcoming, responsive staff. Near great restaurants, hiking, scenic drives, Royal Railroad through gorge. We loved staying in the Long, long Trailer and watched the movie while staying there. So perfect!

Amazing experience! Dirk, the owner, was very helpful & you can tell he's really about "having a great experience". We did have a minor issue and he was on it, fixed our issue quickly. We stayed in the apartment that sleeps 6. My party of 4 adults had plenty of space in the apartment. Loved the balcony - what a treat to sit out on any time of day. The website is very informative, and the photos are comprehensive of the space. Before traveling, I called a few times to ask questions and the person I spoke with was pleasant and informative. Wonderful location as well, not far from the royal gorge, or town. It's also close to summer attractions, and other touristy places.

Very unique place! It was fun checking out the renovated campers. Location was great for Royal Gorge and Canon City just down the hill. Nice pull throughs for our travel trailers. The restrooms were very nice and recently done. But here is the con. Don't change your plans. We were traveling with another couple. Plans changed, we said upon arrival, we might need to leave a day early and not stay Sunday night. We told the guy when we checked in. He said, we would have to talk to the owner the next day and we did. The next day I was told that "you already checked in and the system and it will not let me change it". Granted we changed our plans and we were on the road by 10;00 Sunday morning, but it would have been nice to get at least like half the rate back.
