Royal Victorian Motel

I booked a stay with this motel back in November 2024 but never received a confirmation by email or any other means. Unfortunately, I forgot about the reservation since I had no record of it. On September 23, I received a call asking if I would be checking in. I initially thought they had the wrong person, but they had all my personal information.||I asked the staff member if there would be a charge to cancel, and she clearly said “no.” The next day, I was charged for two nights. I called back immediately and asked if there was anything they could do — such as offering a credit or even splitting the cost — but they refused to help in any way.||I went back through my emails and verified there was never a confirmation from them. I even sent a certified letter to the motel explaining the situ

Location was good , amenities decent .Room can have more charging points

This is the second time we have stayed at the Royal Victorian motel. The room was quiet, even though we were close to the street. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the bathroom was clean. Shower was hot and strong flow of water. There was shampoo and body wash. The room gave us a good place to launch our Port Angeles adventures.

Here now and had a good nights sleep. I was nervous when we pulled up. It doesn’t look great, pretty run down and a few doors down from a sex shop. I am pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the bed, the quality of the pillows and the cleanliness. The walls are thin and I need some kind of white noise so I put on the fan of the central air unit which sounded a little asthmatic but did the trick. The price feels high but honestly this is unfortunately where we are at these days. I wouldn’t want to see what less money gets you.

Hole in the walls in the bathroom, the bedroom, and the kitchen area. Room 104. Friendly front desk person. Asked about the military discount, they said, Yes. But you already paid, so no. The carpet is sticky. The road noise is not good. I picked this hotel because of ratings. They were wrong. Internet speed good.
