Very nice staff, clean smell when I walked in. Didn't see ice bucket or machine. Dingy towels. Limited options in the area, so chose here. Great parking near door.

Cycling across the country 6 times, I've stayed in a lot of cheap motels, but I've never had a problem with bedbugs, until the Royal Inn. My room was totally infested with them. Unfortunately I was dead tired so I didn't notice them biting (although I did notice the sweet-musty smell that I later found out is part of bedbug communication). The welts didn't come out until later in the day, and I counted 164 bites total. Fortunately I found a pharmacy to by cortisone anti-itch cream at my next stop. I called the Royal Inn to try to inform them of their problem so that they could fix it, but I couldn't get through to anyone who spoke English well enough to comprehend what I was saying. At $35 the price was right, but if you choose to stay there, get some assurance that they've had an extermin

This place was so disgusting and should be shut down immediately. I went to the owner with my concerns and for a full refund...he grew irate and began cursing. We argued and I decided to leave. I gave the room to someone who could use it because it was no good to me or for me. Dont ever visit this motel you will be highly disappointed! I am furious and will be taking further action!
