The motel staff are very rude. They knocked on my door late at night, went through and rearranged my things while I was gone amongst other things I will not mention. I was also told that I was "damaging" the room during my stay (my room just stayed a little dirty as I did not have much time to prioritize organizing and cleaning on my trip for school). This felt like a very unsafe stay. I never had my sheets changed, and many of the towels I was given had stains. One of my pillows literally felt like a T-shirt was scrunched up and sewn into a pillow case. The bed was also as hard as a rock - almost not exaggeratingly so. This is an older motel operated by the owners who were and are wonderful people who work hard to provide a good and pleasant stay. They purchased an older and not well maintained property 10 months ago and have cleaned it up and are making improvements. My wife and I came to Brownwood/Early for a high school football game. This was a one night stay. We do this often and we look a lower cost stay that is clean, adequately maintained, that provides excellent customer service and care and that has good basics like comfortable beds & pillows with good linens and covers. We value good quality air conditioning/heating. And, we are relational people so we value getting to know our hosts. And, we offer them support and encouragement. So, we highly recommend this family and their property

Rented two nights , first off I told the lady one night I thought o well we'll stay another night big mistake... Left for work around 9am a fellow walked by looked at me said you ready to check out I replied no we paid for two nights he walked off returned 12:15 am (@ midnight and was exhausted so went to office an asked for clean towels and was told tbat I should of asked for them earlier before i left for work . I thought really he should of asked me when he spoke to me before I left cause I don't run motels I don't know to ask for clean towels before I leave my room as there are no instructions on staying at this motel usually I'm asked if I needed anything everywhere else I rent rooms at . Now I thought about when I stayed here last and thought wow it was clean inviting nice staff and

Staff was very hateful and weird, every time I left my room I was stared at and I was rushed by the man who runs the front desk because I got more than one small bucket of ice and then purposely lied to me and told me that my checkout time was 10:30 in the middle of our heated conversation. It costs $80 to stay the night in a motel room that is falling apart and reeks of halal food/Indian spices and is poorly maintained.

Room was decent sized but the bed was hard and uncomfortable. The top of the fridge was filthy as well as the table. In addition, the table was barely together and extremely unstable. Housekeeping is clearly not doing their job. The image is of the rag used to wipe off the table. I would definitely consider other accomodations. Oh, and it's a whole different level of nasty when there is mold growing in the coffee maker. Update: the place is relatively unchanged. 2nd update: This place has gotten even worse. Housekeeping doesn't even bother checking on room supplies any more and they removed the coffee maker entirely. The bed is as comfortable as a slab of concrete. The customer service is atrocious.
