Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando

Rooms need updating, door locks to and from the room and bathroom are hard to open. Odd to have fridge and microwave in the bathroom area. The double bed or queen bed....wow small when im use to a king, especially for 2 people. Check-in LONG wait!!! Requested extra pillows bc only 3 on each bed, housekeeping was on point and very attentive and had them within 10 mins. Parking was $10 a night. The 24 hour mini mart is not 24 hours. The coffee shop, coffee was good but doesn't open til 630am. The hotel breakfast was like $15 a person not including tax, 5 and under free with paying adult. Not a bad but not the best. The hard boiled eggs....they need to be boiled then put in cold water for easy peeling....these were far from easy to peal and made a mess. Odd you are limited to one juice per pe

4pm check in was a bit odd to me. We arrived at 4:05pm and there were more than 20 people ahead of us trying to check in. We were expected to be somewhere at 5pm, so with that line, it did not happen. We were pleasantly surprised to get thru the line in about 45 mins. The rooms were old but very clean. We smelled bleach cleaner and was pretty happy to know that the facilities were disinfected. We had a decent stay, everyone was relatively quiet. Shutout to the parking lot attendant who was very kind and provided helpful information.

We stayed at this hotel because it was a part of the Universal Studios package. It was on the cheaper end but it was included so you would get the amenity of shuttle service to the parks. ||When we arrived, we came early and we got a room early. We thought that was nice. But the check-in person said to immediately talk to the desk about setting up the shuttle. The times were limited. We did that, signed up, and checked in. ||Accommodations are average. Mind you, we left Disney properties. This is a downgrade comparatively. ||We were told to get on Shuttle D. We made it to Universal. The shuttle going back has only 3 times and its first come first served. ||Our second morning we waited 50 minutes for the shuttle and then were told we missed it. No D shuttle arrived. Very big room and good location... About 10mins walk to the convention center so easy to move around and also have lots of restaurants around the area but try to have breakfast and dinner at the hotel, cheap and good services. Good Food!

I liked this hotel. It is a budget-friendly and affordable option, yet neat and clean. The location is very convenient—right on International Drive (I-Drive) and close to Universal Studios.
