Rose Mountain Cottages

We spent nearly a week in Betty. It was a perfect mix of rustic and modern, with just enough space and amenities to make our stay comfortable and affordable. Betty is set a little aways from the other cabins on the property, with a sizable and private deck, complete with its own fire pit. The creek area and access was a really lovely plus. Renee, Andrew, and Nathan were very welcoming and addressed our needs promptly. Our little one loved it and already wanted to plan our return.

Absolutely lovely place. It’s so cozy and peaceful there. We had the cabin “Joan” for our weekend. Every night we made a fire creekside in the fire pit, even cooked on it, and enjoyed watching the wildlife. The grounds of the cottages is pretty with all the flowers and pollinators - we had a small porch so we sat there with our coffees and watched the bees and butterflies. I also saw a hummingbird in the morning, as well as rabbits. The cabin itself is well stocked, clean, and comfortable. Also the temp inside the cabin stayed cool the whole time. The location is great because we were close to attractions we wanted to check out. We will definitely be coming back, I would love to see the area in the autumn or early winter.

I had such a great time in Shelly! Awesome little cabin with a beautiful view. It was really cold and windy when I stayed but look forward to sitting on the porch in the nicer weather. It was stocked with everything you might need to cook food (oil, salt, pepper, other spices) and make coffee. Loved the plants hanging from the high ceilings and all the natural light from the many windows. Really easy to get to and close to a lot of trailheads, breweries, and little towns. The owners/managers of the cottages are really nice and easy to communicate with through email! I didn’t end meeting them in person but they are available if anything was needed. I really didn’t want to leave! I ended up booking my next trip while I was there. Can’t wait to be back!

The Wendy cabin was perfect. My sister and I grew up going there for summers. We loved going back and reminiscing. The cabin is set up with everything you need for a lovely long weekend getaway. Clean, comfortable, home away from home, would love to go and just spend a week there. The grounds are beautiful. You can cook outside on the fire pit and sit around in the common area under the huge tree and the stars at night. We’ve stayed in the fall and we just got back from our weekend yesterday. Renee and everyone else that owns and runs it are fabulous with what they have done with these cabins. Can’t wait to go back again!

Stayed in the Shelly, very cute cottage. Perfect for myself and my husband. It was clean and updated, no musty smells or bugs. The location is great too, Woodstock is about 25 minute drive. We enjoyed the porch in the evening with a beer while we watched the moon rise behind the mountain, and in the morning with coffee and hummingbirds buzzing around to create a magical backdrop. Just listening to nature did wonders for my soul! We even saw a bald eagle which was the best surprise! The creek across the street is a dream, and there is pavilion to hang out or a fire pit. Will definitely go back and want to return with a group as all the cottages can accommodate my family.
