Rolo Beach Hotel

Enjoyed an excellent stay at Rolo Beach Hotel in Fort Lauderdale! We wanted a comfortable hotel near the beach and restaurants. We found the Rolo hotel and did a quick in-person check of the facility and got a tour of a room. It's a boutique hotel and the room they had available was a junior suite in the updated building (their building next door isn't updated as much so I would definitely pick the main updated building). My wife was surprised at how spacious it was, the layout and conveniences of a full mini kitchen. Everything looked brand new and very clean. The cost was only ~$30 more than a standard king so we took it for one night to keep our options open. Stayed as a couple in November 2025 for two nights as a stopover in Ft Lauderdale. Very pleasantly surprised by the location of the hotel a very short walk from the beach. Also pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, quality of the furnishings and bathroom. Lots of useful touches such as charging ports, good quality toiletries and plenty of hangers. The ability to have access to a key and parking permit despite reaching the hotel after 11pm was very helpful and the process was very simple and smooth. The grounds including pool looked very well maintained though we didn’t use. No noise at all throughout the night and had great sleep - bed very comfy! Wouldn’t hesitate to stop here again.

Overall, great value. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. They have a nice and clean pool with lots of chairs. You could rent beach chairs fairly cheap to take to the beach. Beats the $$$ they charge on the beach! We stayed in the updated section.

Was pretty good overall. Wanted to stay another night, saw the room for $238 on Expedia and instead of changing rooms we asked front desk for the same rate as Expedia and he blocked Expedia and made a big deal said he couldn’t do that and wouldn’t make money even though it was $30 more than the previous night. Also go out of the shower wiped up the floor and it was filthy. Ended up getting a better hotel on the ocean for less anyways. Worked out well
