Rodeway Inn & Suites Port Arthur - Groves

The place is falling apart. Not a single pot, pan, dish, glass, utensil in the kitchen. Not expected in a "suite" hotel. The broken microwave was filthy and disgusting. My bed sheets had holes. There was a disgustingly filthy bucket collecting dripping water in my hallway. The place smelled musty and when cleaned the pinesol smell was so strong I could barely breathe.

It was a terrible room. The toilet rocked so bad I thought I was gonna fall over. The shower head sprayed everything but on me. The ceiling in the bathroom is full of mold. The curtains wouldn’t shut all the way because the hooks were broken. I had to use a hair clip to keep them shut. We only had 1 wash cloth for 2 people. The bed was so hard, the floor was better. The pillows were just flat. And yall advertised vending machines and they were empty and turned off. And of course the key card only worked once. For $80 this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at

I was satisfied with the room location but keys would not work. Had to go to the office several times. Wifi was garbage! My husband couldn't connect at all and when I did connect, it wasn't for long. We were there several days so I asked the housekeeper to just sweep and leave the towels and sheets, I would make the bed. She went ahead and did it for me anyway. So none the less, I tipped her and she checked on me everyday until I left :)

This stay was probably the worst ever!!! I was sent to the hotel for a long work stay upon arriving. It took me four rooms before I found one that was clean and suitable. I almost fell off the toilet seat. The door did not lock, nor did it have the Saftey latch. Day three I fixed my own toilet seat. I continued to ask for a safety latch and lock to be fixed. I’m a female traveling alone and I did not feel safe. After many failed attempts, I then requested a new room for the last two weeks. I was there and they told me they didn’t have anything.. the price of my room changed weekly. By only a few dollars but still it was never the same paid $495 weekly. The hotel was dirty.. the back door. The knob fell off and was never fixed.. Literally, the only and I say only good thing about that h

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to the worse enemy I have. They reaked of mold being covered up by bleach They do not have a pool. They say you get a coffee/tea pot,blow dryer,toiletries, satellite TV and wifi which out of all of those things my room had a bar of soap 2 towels a wash cloth. No coffee pot No blow dryer No iron No satellite the fridge worked barley I give them a. B FOR THE Microwave and a A for the a/c oh and they say vending Machines which was very empty
