Rodeway Inn & Suites

Very friendly staff. Most reasonable price we found. Seeing as how every other hotel wanted almost $700 or more for two nights. Great view with a short walk to the beach! We had fresh towels, new cups and more soap every day we were there. The a/c worked really great! Some other guests were rude (being loud in the pool after pool hours, guests knocking on other guests doors during the night and someone not cleaning up their dogs poo by the office door) but the staff handled it. All of that was tolerable though. The only complaint we have is the toilet could have been bolted to the floor a little better. We would stay again.

Just checked in at the Rodeway Inn at Myrtle Beach, first impression isn't going to well. The outside looks very unappealing and old, but don't judge a book by its cover right? I had to park underground, which is fine don't get me wrong, but the entire underground garage is filthy, rundown, and simply disgusting honestly. When my family and I got to the room it looked okay for the first few seconds, but then we started realizing many flaws and the smell wasn't too good either. The paint of the walls and ceiling is peeling. The toilet seat has many scratches and scabs, which makes it considerably uncomfortable to use the toilet. The shower floor and walls also don't look to good, there are many dents, scratches, and cracks. Just now the sink clogged and we tried calling the man at the lobby

Well after reading everyone's reviews I was scared to death to even come. But to my surprise I walked in and the room was great. Nothing fancy by any means but it was clean. I liked the fact they had laminate flooring. The dog area is small but it will do. That is what the beach is for. I haven't seen any bugs thus far and the shower is definitely clean enough to take a shower. I had more than just 12 channels. The only complaint so far is actually the other people staying here. You get what you pay for here. Nothing fancy. Just convenient.

It's really OK. The bed linens were dingy, the hand towel had a hair in it, as did the bed, not hidden, in plain site! The place is in need of some renovation, all the furniture is old and worn, they still have tube TVs, the bed was worn out. They are making some effort, the room smelled clean at least. The staff were all very nice. The ocean front room is almost worth what they're charging. Can't say I'll return here but if they were the only place with ocean front or cheaper than a similar quality I'd stay here.

Great for the money. Awesome location and great views if you book oceanfront. Front desk is very nice and helpful. Had microwave troubles and it was fixed within 20 minutes! If you are looking for a simple place to stay with none of the perks and understand you are renting a hotel not a resort but want a great location on the beach, then this is a good place for you. This is not a fancy extremely nice place by any means, but it gets the job done and would be great for someone on a budget. Pool is decent size and was always clean.
