Rodeway Inn Salem Northgate

Roadway Inn in Salem was a good option for a short stay in the middle of a trip. The room was decent and had all the basic facilities you need for an overnight stay. It’s not perfect, but for the price, it’s a fair value. The staff were nice, helpful, and kind. There is a $50 deposit required (cash or card), which was not an issue and was returned quickly after a brief room check. In the morning, fresh coffee was available, which was a nice touch before getting back on the road. The location offers quick and easy access to the highway. Well it's nice casual hotel for me it needs more upkeep but it is clean and the owner is very nice my friends are a little more snooty than that because it looks like past guests have really abused that hotel no fault is the owner and my friends are so picky that like everything just perfect but I feel very comfortable there

Location on this is great because it's right next to the freeway, and I do mean RIGHT next to the freeway. However, you don't get too much freeway noise, which is nice. The rooms were a little worn down and ours was a nose smoking but it kind of smelled like cigarette smoke. The shower had very little water pressure, which was disappointing. The price though is on point. Definitely works in a pinch. Oh, and the service people were great. I met three different attendants. They were all extremely kind and went above and beyond to make our stay better.

Cheap hotel to stay at. Beds are comfortable, shower is pretty cool with good water pressure. TV either didn't work or was HORRIBLY pixelated. Fridge either worked just fine or froze everything you put in it.
