Comfort Suites Salem

I held my birthday party in a King suite on the 3rd floor and it was fabulous! The dining area, living room space, and jacuzzi were so perfect for socializing! It felt like there was a lot of natural light, and I enjoyed the views. Every part of the suite - the dining room, bedroom, living room,and the bathroom - was spacious. We appreciated how comfy and clean everything was. Every staff member I encountered was really friendly and helpful! I love the location; it's the perfect blend of easy to find and get to, and being sorta secluded from traffic; and has great parking. There are nice little seating areas scattered throughout the common areas, drink stations at all hours in the lobby, with fresh fruit and oatmeal, even! Everything was pretty great. Only a few issues. The breakfast was nice, the staff were largely friendly. There was one instance in which my husband stood at the front desk for several minutes but was ignored. He finally just walked away, and I had to go back later. Then the hot tub bubbles didnt work. Not a super big deal, just a little annoying. The biggest concern I had was the pool quality. I have worked on pools/done pool maintenance for over 10 years. The pool heavily needs maintenance. All of the grouting around the top of the pool has completely disintegrated....which looks incredibly bad, and makes me feel like its most likely full of mold/mildew in the concrete.

Would definitely stay again 12/10! We were allowed to check in a bit early. This was greatly appreciated since we flew in to Oregon from out of state. James at the front desk hooked us up with free cookies (sugar and peanut butter if you're wondering). They tasted awesome. Rooms are super nice and clean. Breakfast was high quality, biscuits and gravy were my favorite! The hot tub was clean and the jets worked well. Thank you to the staff for such a lovely stay!

We have stayed here multiple times. In each stay we have found a spacious, clean, quiet, well-run hotel. Amenities are plenty (love the iced lemon water in foyer), pool has welcome rules and clean towel on site, and breakfast is varied, plentiful, delicious, and attractively presented meal. Our last stay was due to flooding at our daughter's...and so, we had three grandsons with us. Our room was large, the TV selections great, the pool fun, and the breakfast filling. Heartily recommend this hotel.
