Rodeway Inn Greenville

What a dump. Room wasn't that bad but the hotel is in the process of renovating. From the other reviews, it looks like that has been scheduled for a long time. I just went in February and one review was from 8 months ago. Stayed on the second floor and no elevator. Rate was cheap but if I had known about the problems I would has stayed elsewhere. Dark parking lot and 1st floor stripped out. Had to go downstairs and get my own towels. Probably won't chance it again if I go back to that area. There should be a warning on the website when you book the room about the horrible conditions.

Staff was Excellent!!! Front Desk Clerk couldn't have been More Friendly. This is the 2nd time we have stayed there for Business. It also the 2nd time the Elevator Didn't work. We will be back in March. Hope the elevator is working.

Positive: Nothing at all Negative: I hated absolutely everything. They were under renovations. No ice machines, vending machines, ac barely blew and then all the power blew out for three hours. No air, lights nothing just felt like hell. This was a horror movie.

Our AC would not come back on when we turned the fan speed down. The room was very dirty upon arrival. The toilet did not flush properly. We had to ask to get a second set of bath towels. There were no ice machines.

This was one of my worst experiences booking a room in my life.I booked 2 rooms and was so happy about the prices and the location..But I always wondered why this place never had any business..So after I read the reviews I was shocked. People talked about house keeping , the condition of the Hotel, the COLOR of the sheets and blankets , the Smell and the cars that park on the lot late night with music playing and people hanging out..So this changed my mind and I cancelled my reservation..I had 2 rooms.But when I cancelled it was a PENALTY for canceling..They would only pay for the amount of one room..So I lost the money I spent because I cancelled..I HOPE THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS..AND I SEEN THAT PICK OF THAT ROACH!!!
