Hotel 27

My stay was nice...until the last night. For whatever reason, the overnight desk person came into my room at around 3:45 AM attempting to let a couple stay in my room. Unsettled by this, I called the front desk a few minutes later to ask why that happened. I received an apology and was told that it appeared in the system that my room was unoccupied. I am not sure how this happened as my room was booked online for two nights. I made sure to put the chain on the door. The room was clean and nice. The hotel was in a good location for what I needed to be in town for. I will say the double beds are not really double, but full size. So I have mixed feelings about recommending with that troubling mistake, but overall a decent hotel with decent rates.

Arriving here we discovered a welcome with a smile and bottled water in our completely renovated and updated, large room.|The building has been a hotel since the 1880s; more recently the community improvement organization, Main Street Greenville, has renovated and modernized the building into a fine and functional space.|The rooms are large, with microwave and fridge and big and fluffy towels.||A tasty but simple breakfast is served daily in the attractive downstairs |breakfast room. It includes fresh pancakes, juices, muffins, fruits, cereals, yogurt, coffee and teas.|There is also a patio available to guests. this hotel is clean, comfortable and conveniently located. The staff is incredibly friendly and will happily offer suggestions on how to make the stay in Greenville more exciting. The hotel smells amazing and has various small touches that make It charming and homely.

Great service. Clean rooms. Nice staff. Smelled very good! Very quaint old hotel that has recently been updated. Would definitely stay here again and may just plan a trip to explore Greenville just for that.

I unexpectedly came across this hidden gem for our utility crews and management team , and I absolutely fell in love with our stay at Hotel 27. The boutique hotel’s warm charm rich history , and thoughtful touch made our experience truly unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who appreciates a place with character and story to tell.
