Rodeway Inn

Don't let other reviews fool you. This hotel was clean, quiet and affordable. It's being renovated so there is a little hustle and bustle going on. Our room had all new furniture, very comfortable bed, very clean. The front counter was so nice to check in with. Very helpful and polite.

The building was recently severely damaged by a tornado and hail. There are still rooms available, but I would have appreciated knowing this before I booked. The room I stayed in had very few outlets and I had to unplug the microwave and the refrigerator so I could plug in my laptop and charge my phone. It was quiet and I slept well so it wasn't a total loss.

The desk service was VERY polite. The room was clean and comfortable. They even provided 2 more very nice, thick, warm blankets as I was very cold. Winter in Nebraska and I'm 81 years old. Will gladly stay there again. And have mentioned it to several folks.

The top surface of the king size bed was so high my wife had trouble getting on to it. Once up there her feet were 10 inches off the floor, the mattress was OK but the base it was on is way too tall for shorter people to use easily. This was in Fremont NE room 215. There was no toilet paper holder so it was either on the floor or on the top of the tank of the toilet behind the seat. Made the roll hard to find or use.

A few hours after checking into a "newly renovated" king room i decided to stay another night so I went to the desk and paid. Renovation wasnt all that nice, but the king bed was comfortable and the ac worked good, tv service was just ok and there was piss and toilet paper in the toilet when i got into the room. After getting off work I came back to my room to find it had been cleaned and a few items were missing. After talking to the desk and getting the items back I discovered that the owner thought a mistake had been made so he refunded my payment for the 2nd night and checked me out of my room. Very unsatisfied and I will not be returning to that hotel ever again.
