Rodeway Inn Brookville

I have always had great service and privacy when staying here. The upgrades are coming along nicely and on the up and up. I'm a diamond elite member and could stay at other hotels that are in fact somewhat nicer, but the service has not been quite as good at those hotels not to mention the interruptions by housekeeping and management. Plus I am a smoker. This hotel has went non smoking, but every room has a balcony to be able to step outside quickly without even putting shoes on and such to smoke. Sure some of the smoke may leech in from outside, but that's going to happen. This is actually the final deciding factor to staying here regularly. Being able to smoke and not be hassled for it. Newly renovated rooms! Excellent Staff! Excellent breakfast! Excellent Price! You just can’t beat it!

We stayed during groundhog day weekend and it was an easy drive to the celebration. The hotel is a bit run down, but our room was clean and comfortable. We were missing a shower curtain, but too tired to deal with it. We let them know when checking out. Breakfast was standard buffet, but nice it opened early on groundhog day. We were able to park close to the entrance which was good since it was snowy and icy. Room was large and we appreciated the coffeemaker. This was an acceptable choice as everything was sold out that weekend.

Convenient location, newly remodeled clean rooms. Breakfast bar ready @ 5:00 am. We recently stayed 9 days while hunting. Great coming back after a long day in the woods and a hot shower waiting. We have stayed here for at least the last 20 years during hunting season. Pleasant staff a plus.

Situated perhaps 200 yards from Route 80, it was a long two story structure that may have been built in the 1960’s or 70’s. Ramshackle and decrepit was my first thought. Immediately followed by, is it open. There were two cars in its parking lot with no clear indication of where to enter the building.. A small cubicle of the building poked out at one end. There were two small entry doors with a large window sign that read Play Here. Inside there was a bank of various types of lottery games along one wall. The entry door scrapped the ground as I entered. There was a reception counter in front of me and to my right a small area where a continental breakfast would be available the next morning.
