The amenities and overall shape and quality that each cottage is kept will keep you coming back. The thick canopy of trees allowed for a shady retreat to sit having coffee and watch the deer frolic just 10 to 15 yards from you. The privacy and quietness is unmatched. The hot tub is another plus on top of an already amazing place. Already planning my return trip. We stayed in Fern Gully and it truly is a spectacular setting. Extremely close to Clear Creek State Park and the many hiking trails. Allen and Elice are terrific. They meet you upon arrival and make you feel like a part of the family. We rented Serenity for 3 nights at the end of July, we really needed to relax and recharge and we couldn't have picked a better place to do that! The cabins are very clean and pleasant, spaced away from the others so it's a very private experience. The hot tub was extremely clean and worked it's magic, the deck is spacious and we were even able to set up a screen and projector to watch our guilty pleasures "drive-in" style while we were hanging out on the deck. We used the available grill to cook over an open wood fire, but there's also a gas grill that you can use. Hide-A-Way Cottages provide the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. From the moment you arrive at the office, you are met with an approach that treats you as a friend – not a customer. Allen did a great job communicating in the days prior to our stay and also made sure to let us know that if we needed anything to not hesitate to reach out to him. As for the cottage, we stayed at Seclusion, it was very clean and quite well stocked. It has all the amenities that you could possibly need so long as you follow the “packing list” section on their website. It does a great job giving you a rundown on what you need to bring for your stay. Everything in the cottage was in great condition and the hot tub was immaculate. My wife and I rented Serenity for a long winter weekend getaway and it was perfect. The snow fell at times as we watched from either the relaxing hot tub or the floor to ceiling wood burning fire place. I would definitely recommend hide-a-way cottages to anyone that is looking for a perfectly equipped, rustic cottage with the extra finishes that make life great. We've stayed at this cottage and one other cottage (sometimes with our kids), several times over the last 10+ years and it is still as beautiful and well maintained as ever.

We stayed in cabin 10 "country abode" over mother's day weekend. It was sort of last minute but we happened to be lucky enough that it had just gotten painted and was ready to be rented that Friday. We enjoyed everything from the beautiful secluded and serene location to the perfect lay out of the cabin. The bed was so nice and the water was hot in the shower right after my husband's shower. It is clean and has a homey feel. The owners were helpful from the first phone call to the return of the keys at check out. The hot tub area was the cherry on top. This is truly a hidden gem.
