Rockville Lake Park

It was okay here despite our experience with the town around it. We are queer women of color so there was a mixed reaction of us being there. I booked two nights and the woman at the check in was surprised we actually stayed?.. idk I saw so many reviews about how clean it is and they are mostly true. overnight someone destroyed the toilets and didn't clean up after themselves. I think we've all experienced how filthy women's bathrooms can get. It was gross. They have kayaking, hiking and fishing. The "beach" was a little sad. Our primitive campsite had a picnic table, fire pit with a grill rack...and racoons. We lost a couple pieces of pie and a couple hours of sleep to our own fault. It's nice and quiet in the morning and night. It was beautiful for October. If it wasn't in a sundown town

Rockville Lake is the only place my family and I will camp at. We've tried other camping spots but none of them are as wonderful as Rockville! The people here are always so happy and pleasant, they keep things as clean as they can, the swimming area is spacious and they have a pier that is super fun to jump off of! My family and I always see so much wild life when we come here, it's always so exciting for our kids. They also have many fishing areas and boat rentals so you can fish on the lake. They don't have a little general store inside the park like other camping areas do, but there are stores conveniently located just outside the park, only about 4-6 minutes away. We are definitely loyal to Rockville lake for a reason! It's a GREAT place to camp, and so beautiful!! I have a few photos,

Big beautiful lake and tons of places to go camping at. It has a small beach which would be awesome in the summer time. It has a big disc golf course that spans into the woods. However the nature trails aren't very big so I wouldn't go there just to hike. Great place to go fishing. It has a big dock you can walk out on also.

Wifes 1st time camping. These campgrounds are well maintained. Shower, toilets, water, electric. Very cozy and quiet. The dogs first time camping too. It was terrific!

Awesome campground! Very clean, nice staff and lots of fun activities like frisbee golf! It's a bargain too at about $30 for a full hookup site! Take the family and get some fresh air!
