Great, quiet place to park and lay your head . You can listen to the birds sing as they wake you to the wonderful weather that Rockport has to offer. Shopping, fishing and beaches close by. Enjoy a quick ferry ride to Port Aransas.

When I found out my husband was being transferred to this area for work, I was sick to my stomach trying to find a campground that wasn’t like a trailer park. I finally came upon Estes, and it just so happened someone was moving the day before we were supposed to arrive, so I made the reservation. This place is awesome. Nice and quiet. During the spring, summer, and fall, it’s mostly workers, so everyone pretty much has the same going to bed early and getting up early hours, 6 to 7 days a week, so we never had to deal with the usual there’s always at least one person who thinks everyone wants to hear their loud music or parties. Staying at Rockport Ranch 2 was a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the warm and friendly community. The campground is peaceful, clean, and surrounded by beautiful shade trees that make it easy to relax and enjoy the outdoors. One of the standout features for us was the large dog park—our dogs had an amazing time running and playing off-leash. It’s clear that Rockport Ranch 2 is thoughtfully designed with pet owners in mind. The overall atmosphere is safe, quiet, and inviting. Whether you're staying short-term or long-term, this place truly feels like a home away from home. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

I planned to stay for 5 months but when I got there, this is the spot they put me in. SEE PIC This was my 2nd choice. The first was next to someone whose site looked junky with a dog pen that had a tattered cover over the top and half falling into the pen and it had other stuff sitting outside that made it look junky. On a personal note...I would be right across the road from a woman who had no regard for how to treat people. I was in Dallas with my dying husband. What an opportune time for her. Enough of the personal feelings. FACTS ABOUT THE PLACE I cannot even begin to tell you how disappointed I was to be placed in this spot. Not to mention my 2 dogs were confused about where to go potty. There is a place behind my RV for them to go but it was mostly mud back there from them watering
