Rockin' M Ranch Cabin Rentals, Horseback Rides & Fly Fishing Guides

This place is BEAUTIFUL, with gorgeous, well cared for, sure footed horses. Lachy, our guide, took us for the lunch ride with views for days and conversation to match. Our trusty steeds, Trump and Major, were so well trained and kind. They were easy to steer and even have a back up, unlike a lot of head to tail trail horses. We felt safe and secure up and down the mountain, as well as through the fairly deep river crossing. Definitely worth the short drive to Jackson to get away from mess of people up north. The prices were also better than the Jackson area ;-) The cabins look fantastic, and my husband was ready to ditch the nice camper van to stay here, lol.

Wow! My family of 4 stayed in one of the loft cabins. Spacious for our family, clean, and excellent views. Hot tub on the property was a nice touch. Well equipped kitchen. Two of our party went fly fishing and all of us did a 3-hour horseback ride and cookout lunch on the trail. Both experiences were amazing! The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The horse trail went up the hills for wonderful views and crossed over several rivers, streams. Can’t wait to go back, would recommend to anyone!

Don't look further, Rockin' M Ranch is amazing! From start to finish the entire experience was top notch. We had a wonderful guide in Lachlan. He was friendly, helpful, educational, careful, and a super young man. The horses were calm, obedient, and very well trained. The beautiful scenery on the tour made our ride even better. We highly recommend Rockin' M Ranch. You will not regret it. ENJOY!!!!

My wife and I went horseback riding the last week of September to celebrate my birthday, and we had an incredible time! Our guide, Lockland, was outstanding and made the experience truly memorable. We’re already looking forward to doing this again on our next visit!

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. My family and I booked the full day ride. The staff was very friendly, the horses well-behaved, and the views spectacular. Our tour guide even stopped along the way to take photos of us with the scenery. My children loved the experience. When we get back out to Alpine, we will definitely book with Rockin' M again and stay at their cabins.
