Bull Moose Lodge & Saloon

Dirty at best. It was quiet from outside, but you can hear your neighbors...so it's not totally sound proofed. No clue where the ice machine was...maybe the restaurant? Beds were uncomfortable, pillows were awkward, grime all over. Lots of room to put your things which was nice, but I'm glad we didn't stay for more than 1 night. Enough room for a pack n play. Lights were broken, bathroom fan was broken, lamps were decoration. Water pressure was good though and each room has their own water heater. It's a basic place -- so as long as you go in expecting that, you'll be solid.

New chef. Old menu items are gone. I would normally give this place five stars but the new menu food is average. On another note. We ordered Reubens and they came on sourdough because they didn’t have correct bread. Excuse was our food didn’t come in today. Which is understandable but maybe offer something else. I think they were out of everything. Ruebens are not served on sour dough. Ruins them. They were terrible Then we couldn’t get the check My husband has to get up and get it. We were so disappointed. We have spent so much time in that restaurant So sorry the chef left I didn’t rate the rooms because we’ have never stayed there. Just the restaurant This was our experience. Just from this experience I do not recommend

I stayed at the Bull Moose hotel September 26. What a mistake. The toilet filled up almost overflowing, and we could not flush it. The bathtub filled up with 4 inches of water and still was not drained by the morning. The room was filthy. There is no hotel lobby. The bar is the lobby. I tried to check out in the morning and the bar was locked. I left my keys in the room hoping that is what they expected. The bartender was too busy making drinks then trying to check us in. I would sleep in my car instead of staying there. I called the lady and talked to a supervisor asking for some type of compensation. She said she would call me either way, and never did.

Positive: Nothing Negative: i requested a ground floor & 2 queen beds. They would not accommodate, even though I requested it when I placed reservation? Even on second day stay I tried to get it changed at 6 am.

Large room with the biggest king size bed I have ever seen. Room came with fridge, coffee maker and micro. Plenty of storage and places for USB. Room was clean and quiet from road noise but you could definitely hear folks upstairs coming and going. Lodge is next door to the saloon - featuring pretty good food and drink in a very local setting. Definitely recommend.
