Twin Lakes is a hidden gem and is one of the most beautiful Colorado towns. This is our first time staying at the Roadhouse Inn and it’s absolutely perfect for us! It’s right across from the lake and our room (room 3) has a great view. Traveling in our party is 2 parents and a toddler and we found the room to have exactly what we needed! We love the lakeside trails, perfect for varying fitness levels (toddler endorsed!). I highly recommend checking out the Roadhouse Inn next time you’re in the area or looking for a perfect mountain getaway!

We stayed at Roadhouse Inn for 2 nights. It was a perfect mountain getaway for us. Shana and Jason are very welcoming and friendly. Room has all the modern amenities which is usually hard to find in mountain towns. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom is spotlessly cleaned. We also enjoy great morning coffee and muffins by the lake. Definitely going to recommend this place to all my friends looking for a mountain getaway. Also, I think I saw milky way from right outside our room. I can’t say for sure because I am not good at astronomy but it looked pretty.

Amazing location and even better hosts. Jason and Shana were amazing and very accommodating. The cabin was a perfect little get away for the weekend. The coffee from the cafe is amazing and has plenty to offer. Many trails to hike, and only 25 minutes from Leadville and Buena Vista. If you are reading this, book now- you won't regret it!

We loved staying at the Roadhouse. Plus Twin Lakes is a great, quiet area, and close to a lot of great outdoor areas to explore. We stayed in Room 3 for 2 nights. We loved the room itself. The people above us were loud at times. So noise from above could be an issue. Only real problem we had was with coffee; which is fairly important to us. Coffee shop never opened during our stay. And the Keurig coffee maker never would make coffee right again, after it ran out of water the first day. I texted about it and was told someone would look at it. (I filled the water myself when it ran out.) Tried again the next morning and it did the same thing. I'm sure its been worked out by now. But coffee at the Roadhouse would have made the stay perfect. There are a couple other places to get coffee in t

This is the nicest place to stay in Twin Lakes. Pro tip; Room 3 is conveniently located right next to the Kureig machine. The owners leave a plate of snacks in the room for you to munch on. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
