Riviera Motor Lodge

It's not a very clean place...the room I helped my friend move their things out of had a basketball sized blood stain on the mattress that I guess they thought was still usable... It's on miracle mile so that's enough to make me not want to stay there. But if you like dangerous neighborhoods and being left alone so u can do what u wanna do this is a great place. They don't ask too many questions as long as ur paying...I'm sure that's a plus for the management.

Basic rooms - clean, reasonably spacious, but the furnishings are "experienced" and the paint on the walls may not always match. But the room did have a big flat screen TV. Big parking spots - good for larger vehicles. One problem for early sleepers: the band next door in the motel converted into a mercado can easily be heard in the room until they stop playing, which can be as late as 11 PM. Fortunately, the band was talented - alas, I had to get up at 3 AM. One comment: I stayed 3 night, but received no housekeeping the entire time. Wasn't a huge issue for me as the room was clean when I arrived, but could be an issue for others. Other than the uninvited music, it was entirely suitable for my modest needs at the time.

Very quickly I'd recommend Riviera Motor Lodge. Great location. Miracle Mile has been a questionable area in the past but improving everyday. I feel safe here. First, there is great lighting here. The Tucson Police department has a station just to the west of here and can respond in a heartbeat. There is an outdoor church adjacent to the west and what appears to be a nice bar to the east or I'm not sure what it is but seems pleasant. There are other businesses as well. The cemetery is to the north. Very convenient are gas stations and Oracle Rd. businesses, fast food, etc. etc. My room has been excellent 👍👌👍 Management or other staff very professional. Prices are very reasonable. If you want luxury I'm sure Hilton East or Marriott are very available but if you need an affordable alternati

Dated decor but the rooms are nice. Huge layout. 2 bdrms are just like an apartment and not much more in price than the regular motel room layout. Separate bedrooms with huge living room area, full working kitchen with cooktop stove, microwave, and full size fridge. Rooms are a little small but still good sized and locking doors on each. Two couches with pull out beds. Bathroom could use better ventilation but also decent in size. Overall a great location for those on a budget. Would definitely recommend.

The room i got was ok for 60 bucks. Bed was comfy, etc... thought it was odd that nobody did housekeeping. For my whole 3 day stay. No made bed,..no emptying of trash cans,..and no additional towels or soap. I stretched what was there and just made it the 3 days but that was re using a towel the third day. No biggie. I had to empty my own trash can,.....which was a first. Never,..ever have i been asked by a motel manager to empty my own trash. Just be ready to hear some oddball "rules" from the manager at check in
