Riverside Hotel Fort Lauderdale

We’ve been coming to Fort Lauderdale for the past four years, and our stay at Riverside Hotel Las Olas was hands down our best hotel experience yet. Our room on the 12th floor was absolutely amazing — breathtaking views, a spacious balcony, and the perfect place to relax and take it all in. We were celebrating a birthday, and the staff went above and beyond by surprising us with special birthday treats delivered to our room. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the celebration even more memorable. A very special thank you to Merline and Larika, who were incredibly attentive to every one of our needs. The location is great, the front entrance can lead to the water taxi and river, whereas other side entrance is the shopping area where the patrons can go shopping and a great variety of cafe and restaurant, though the supermarket is about 10-15 minutes walking distance. The lift is too small which only two people with luggage.

The location was perfect. Everything was within walking distance. The front desk and valet staff were very friendly, polite and professional. The Boathouse restaurant is a must to dine in with beautiful views and excellent food and service. The room was very comfortable but in dire need of lighting. We had to keep the bathroom light on in order to make the room brighter. Overall I would definitely recommend The Riverside Hotel to my friends and family and will definitely be staying here again.

Normally, we stay at the same three hotel chains, but we took a chance on the Riverside Hotel based on a family recommendation, and we are so glad we did! The location was super convenient, the atmosphere was quiet yet still full of holiday cheer, and the service was impeccable, especially what was provided by Alan Hicks. Due to their capacity, we were able to receive an upgrade to a premium room, which only increased our stay value as we were already paying less than expected! We highly recommend this hotel and all its amenities!

We met up with family for two nights at the Riverside Hotel mid-January. There was some good but unfortunately several issues.|POSITIVE:|- Check-in was quick and friendly|- Stayed in The Towers with a very spacious room and balcony. No road noise (12 floors and we were on 9). |- Location - Middle of Las Olas and Water Taxi starting point|- The Boathouse Restaurant (onsite) on the water and food delicious||NEGATIVE:|- Elevators kept going out during our stay. Several times we got stuck trying to go up or down. We ended up having to walk down 9 flights of stairs which then took us to the garage so we had to then back track. |- Spoke to Front Desk several times since we couldn’t get back to our room with the elevator out and they were dismissive and unresponsive. |- The onsite restaurant host
