Always nice to chill by the lake with good friends at Riverside. Wish the restaurant was opened. Its for sale but everybody misses it.
I ate at the restaurant, I had the meatloaf special with turnip greens and fried okra. There were lots to choose from. One of the people with me had the chicken salad on a croissant. Everyone was happy with their food and the service was excellent. They are known for their cakes. I tried the carrot cake- it was freshly baked and still warm with fresh cream cheese icing. The cake was to die for. Over all, I might start with the cake and then decide how much else I wanted to eat. My experience here was excellent.
They were so friendly and gave us site dog friendly for us! Loved it!
Very nice campground. Mostly privately owned lots but some overnight lots. Staff was super nice and helpful. Thank you Angela
