Magnolia Overlook (The Magnolia House on Weiss Lake )

This place deserves 10 stars! The owners are hands down the best Airbnb hostesses to ever exist. We had everything we could need for our long weekend stay. All you need to bring is your groceries & clothing. They have the rest covered. They provided the charcoal for the grill, wood for the fire, extra dish washing tabs, plenty of towels, trash bags, etc. We needed the lights turned on at the pool and the owner was on it within minutes. They are extremely nice people. The kids had a great time there. My teen kept saying how he wants to live in the studio that we had rented. We are trying to make plans to come back! We live three hours away in TN. This is the perfect family getaway! They had a place for our boat to be parked across from the rental. We felt very safe here. The homes are beaut

I don't even know where to start with Magnolia Overlook. I drove to Cedar Bluff on a whim looking for a wedding venue in January of 2025 and the second I stepped on property, I knew this was the only place I could see myself getting married. My dream was to have a place where our families could stay together on the property and celebrate for more than just one night and this place was PERFECT. Fast forward ten months to wedding weekend, and being a guest was a completely different experience. Everything you could imagine is taken care of for you. Destinie is the most attentive hostess. The entire Magnolia overlook property is AMAZING!!! We had the entire property for a week for our Family Reunion of 58 people. We used the entire property. The family was amazed at all of the amenities included. Everything you could need is provided and we didn't have to ask for anything else. The airconditioned Clubhouse was the perfect place for our family meeting, arts & crafts, bingo and dance party. Everyone loved the pools and hot tubs. Kids loved the playground and game room. Used the grill at the outdoor kitchen a few times. Kayaks were in use everyday. If you want a place that has everything, this is it. We will definitely have our next family reunion here. Will even go back on mini vacation trips before that. Thank you Dave and Anne for such an amazing place.

So beyond happy we chose the Magnolia Overlook to host our wedding. We stayed Thursday-Sunday so we could spend time with our family and friends. Everyone was raving about how absolutely beautiful and comfortable their stay was. The grounds are breathtaking. It seems the owners have thought of everything you could possibly need. There truly are not enough words to express how incredible our experience was at Magnolia Overlook House. From start to finish, every single person we worked with was exceptional, and not once did we feel anything less than completely cared for. Destinie was absolutely amazing. She was in constant communication, asked thoughtful questions about details I hadn’t even thought of yet, and genuinely felt invested in our wedding day. It never felt transactional — it felt personal.
