You will find a smaller area that is wonderful when you want to go for a float trip. We used kayaks. It was a quick current compared to the river we normally take. I found that nice "less padding" we never had much of a problem dragging however there was a spot we did have to get off and drag it around due to debris ( in Mo they can't cut it if it's in the water) or this is what we were told at other rivers. So that we didn't mind. I Loved that there wasn't purple everywhere saying you couldn't dock there! It was very welcoming I would highly recommend floating from here. But be aware the road to where you get in is ... Well an adventure. 🤣 Fast and curvy! But we absolutely loved our float. We will be back for sure

I want start by saying this, my family and I really love this campground. All the workers there were super nice and friendly. There was just a couple of things we notice in our 3 day stay. One, the bathroom showers hadn’t been cleaned the whole time we stayed there. When we stayed last year the bathroom was cleaned every night. They were really gross, which people staying also need to do better about cleaning up after themselves. The woman’s bathroom would run out of toilet paper and soap. Toilet paper kept getting ruined bc none of it actually went in the dispensers they just keep setting it out on top. This year it was just the older bathroom opened due to construction, which completely understandable. Hopefully one day the older one can get an update. The last thing I think when the ri

ould not recommend this campground!!! Nasty bathhouse that was not cleaned once while we camped here. Our site was a drop off for tubers from another campground. It was not this way last year. So 2 to 3 times a day a bus load of tubers would pull up and unload right on our campsite. Which made for a noisy & so relaxing camping trip!|Our other issue was that there was no one there at store to check in when we arrived.Nor was there anyone in the store every day we attended between 11 and 4 o’clock .|When my daughter arrived before us, they had piles of rocks & sand everywhere. Due to recent flooding, parts of the campground roads had washed out and the campground filled washed out parts with deep sand & pepples. However, there were no signs posted to be aware of deep sand. When my daughter drov

Nice campground right along the river. It's been impacted by flooding lately so many of the sites are disheveled and they're working on flattening the terrain. The facilities are fair and the general store has much of what you may need. I liked that it was a bit less remote than other treks of the river. Better reception and closer to towns. Not overrun with raccoons or bugs. Would camp here again!

We’ve been going there for the last 20 years but we’re not going back. The group site next to our site put one of their tents up on our site and refused to move it and the timid person in the office didn’t want to confront them.So my husband moved to a different site that the tree limbs wouldn’t allow our camper to go through so it wouldn’t level up right. In the past with a previous owner they would’ve moved them off of our site because we paid it. No compensation just oh well I was working that night and didn’t get to go down till the next morning. I wouldn’t have stood for that because it’s not right and one of their people even plugged his tesla into a camper plug in. 20 years down the drain with no concerns.3 different owners in 20 years and this is the first one that didn’t stand up
